History of the Campsite

The LDA Campsite is an asset of the Loudon District Baptist Missionary and Education Association. The Campsite property was purchased in 1983 and paid in full that same year.  The site consists of a multi-purpose building, constructed in 1986, cabins constructed by various churches and individuals in 1986 through 1996.  The pool and bathhouse facilities were built in 1996-1997.

The campsite property was purchased by the Loudon District for the sole purpose of being a ministry to others. The campsite provides an opportunity to glorify Jesus Christ, our Lord through various programs and activities at the facility through Loudon District personnel.

Loudon District’s vision is to make the campsite available for use by area churches and organizations for conferences, seminars, youth camps, etc., challenging every camper to conform to the character of Christ, and obedience to God’s Word through faithful service.
